1. What Arakan provides

Arakan is a compliance management platform designed to help UAE businesses and advisory firms track corporate tax obligations, manage evidence, and generate compliance reports. The platform is a tool for professional assessment and does not constitute formal legal or tax advice.

2. Jurisdiction

Arakan is designed for use by entities resident in the United Arab Emirates. The platform is built around UAE Decree-Law No. 47 and the rules of UAE regulatory authorities. Use of the platform for entities outside the UAE is not supported.

3. Limitation of liability

Arakan is not responsible for penalties incurred from the Federal Tax Authority or any other regulatory body. While the platform is built to a high standard, final compliance responsibility rests with the taxable person or their appointed adviser. Arakan's analysis does not substitute for qualified legal or tax advice.

4. Data integrity

You are responsible for the accuracy of entity data you enter into the platform. Arakan's analysis is only as reliable as the information it is given. Arakan will not be held liable for incorrect findings that result from inaccurate or incomplete data provided by the user.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use Arakan only for lawful purposes, in connection with genuine compliance management activities. You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse the platform's data or logic engines.

Unauthorized access to, or use of, Arakan's systems, databases, or content — including automated scraping, data mining, or bulk extraction without express written permission — is strictly prohibited and may constitute an offence under UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combating Rumours and Cybercrimes, in addition to any applicable intellectual property protections over Arakan's compiled databases and original content. Arakan reserves the right to pursue civil and criminal remedies against unauthorized use.
